About Us
Our Mission
Currently, there are many people in the UK who do not have easy access to useful agriculture training - due to factors such as geography, financial difficulty, language and cultural barriers, time restrictions and more.
At the same time, we know that developing great stockworker skills can have an big impact on livestock health, business sustainability and career development.
The mission of Farmsteps is to deliver high quality, practical training and relevant training that is available to all.
We reduce the barriers to accessing our courses by providing partially-funded and fully-funded places. We use training methods that suit a range of learning styles, and can make adjustments tailored to individual requirements.
By doing this, we aim to:
• Help boost personal and career development
• Improve livestock health and welfare, which will impact the the sustainability of farm businesses
• Create an accessible space to help everyone who wants to work in the livestock sector .
